EYCZ Adventures Terms and Conditions
Welcome to EYCZ Adventures! Before you join any of our trips or events, we kindly ask you to carefully read and agree to the following terms and conditions:
Health and Fitness:
1.1. Whilst EYCZ Adventures are slow paced, and accessible to for those without specific mobility concerns, participants must ensure that they are in good health and possess the physical fitness required for the chosen adventure. Specific requirements will be stated in each event description.
1.2. If you have any pre-existing medical conditions or concerns, it is your responsibility to consult with a healthcare professional before participating in any activity.
1.3. Please inform us of any relevant medical information that may impact your ability to fully participate in the adventure. You can do this when booking your adventure. If you need any further information about a specific adventure, please contact us at hello@escapingyourcomfortzone.com, and we will be happy to help.
Acceptable Behavior:
2.1. All participants are expected to treat each other, the EYCZ Adventures team, and the local communities with respect and consideration.
2.2. Discrimination, harassment, or any form of offensive behavior towards others will not be tolerated.
2.3 All participants must agree to include every person who identifies as a woman, or a non-binary person, regardless of their age, gender, sexual orientation, ability, race, culture or religion. Using language that excludes, demeans or is otherwise discriminatory to participants based on these categories should be avoided.
2.4 All participants must agree to act in a body positive manner, where all staff and participants are free from judgement; with no weight loss or diet talk, and no body shaming
Environmental Responsibility:
3.1. We are committed to eco-friendly practices. Participants are required to follow Leave No Trace principles during the adventures to minimize their impact on the environment.
3.2. Littering (including organic items such as fruit and vegetables) and any activity that may harm wildlife or damage natural habitats are strictly prohibited.
Alcohol and Substance Use:
4.1. The use of illegal substances is strictly prohibited during EYCZ Adventures trips and events.
4.2. If alcohol consumption is permitted during an adventure, it should be done responsibly and in compliance with local laws.
Safety Precautions:
5.1. Participants must adhere to the safety guidelines and instructions provided by EYCZ Adventures staff at all times.
5.2. In case of emergencies or any safety concerns, participants are required to follow the instructions given by the trip leaders and cooperate fully.
5.3 Participants are fully responsible for the cost of rescue or ambulance should the need arise during an event. If EYCZ staff judge that an ambulance or evacuation is required, they will do so regardless of whether you have ambulance coverage.
Insurance:
6.1. It is highly recommended that participants have personal travel insurance that covers activities and potential incidents during the adventure. 6.2. EYCZ Adventures is not liable for any personal injury, loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings during the trip.
Flexibility and Itinerary Changes:
7.1 EYCZ Adventures aims to provide a well-planned itinerary, but outdoor adventures are subject to unpredictable factors beyond our control.
7.2 The provided itinerary is a general guideline, and EYCZ Adventures may make necessary changes to ensure participant safety and well-being.
7.3 Participants understand that certain activities or destinations may be altered, replaced, or canceled, and should maintain a flexible and understanding attitude towards such changes.
Third Party Providers
8.1 Some activities and services that form part of the event may be provided by an independent company. This will be made clear in the event description. IThis happens when we partner with a third party organisation or qualified leader to provide specialist activities. The contract for the provision of that activity will be between you and the activity provider. By participating in the activity, you also accept that any assistance given by the organisation or specialist leader in undertaking the activity does not render EYCZ Adventures liable for them in any way.
Cancellations and Refunds:
9.1. Participants can cancel their booking according to our cancellation policy, which will be provided separately in each event description.
9.2. EYCZ Adventures reserves the right to cancel or modify an adventure due to unforeseen circumstances, in which case a suitable alternative or refund will be offered.
Photography and Media:
10.1. By participating in our adventures, you grant EYCZ Adventures the right to use any photographs, videos, or testimonials taken during the trip for promotional purposes.
Compliance with Local Laws:
11.1. Participants must abide by the laws and regulations of the countries or regions visited during the adventure.
Liability Waiver:
12.1. By joining an EYCZ Adventures trip or event, participants acknowledge and agree that they assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages that may occur during the adventure.
Changes to Terms and Conditions:
13.1. EYCZ Adventures reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time. Participants will be notified of any significant changes.
